I myself have no specific religion, but I love christmas, it is so warm, cozy, and fun. I love halloween, it is just super fun. Same with any Holiday. I guess I wouldn't be able to understand but, why would say a Jewish person be mad about Christmas being displayed? I understand that Christmas is literally "Birth of Christ" but many don't see it that way anymore. Same with Haloween, it isn't really seen the same way as it used to be, just fun now. I guess I wouldn't understand since I don't follow one religion. Maybe someone could enlighten me as to why it is offensive?

 • The problem is moreso with the choice of holidays. If someone's preferred holiday isn't chosen, there will be tons of complaints from people who follow other traditions, and from atheists who are angry at religious holidays being displayed in game. I support the idea, but it's a can of worms that I dont think bungie wants to open.

 • Ah, so if any religious holiday is in game, athiests are going to be peeved. If one variant of a holiday (Christmas) is displayed and not another variant (Hanukkah) then the variant's religion that wasn't chosen, will be peeved? I guess that makes sense then. I myself don't follow any religion but love all of the religious holidays. But that's just me.

 • It's not everyone by a long shot, but vocal minorities will be angry.
