No can do. Every blue weapon engram I get turns out to be a coin or a mote of light.
-
okay. take one exotic shard and 2500 glimmer to the weapon kiosk. you'll get like eight weapon parts.
-
^^^ This I'm 298 light, hair from 299. All I need is my heavy to get past 292 and my primary to get over 295... Strikes 7 hours last night, all blue weapon drops around the 260 range and the ones that did not turn into weapons.... Yep just like TrueLike friggen motes and special coins. And I don't want to hear a word about how "good" special coins are. GOOD is me getting something higher than 265 when I am 298 running the highest level strikes available to us!

Edited by SmokeShadow_27: 10/22/2015 8:40:37 PMHey bro, try some Court of Orxy. If you get in there with a big group (doesn't have to be your fireteam, randos will do just fine), stay for a while, pop a few runes if you have them, and kill as many bosses as you can. You'll get mediocre rewards for other people's runes, and better rewards for your runes, hence why I said use some if you have them. But... regardless, you will walk away with full character gear slots, and a plethora of engrams on the ground, being warp driven to your postmaster. I always tend to walk away with at least one blue over 290. Might land a 297 blue sniper or a 295 blue AR. As for your heavy, that's going to be the rarest. I have been lucky enough to receive one blue heavy at 299 (now my Ruin Wake is a 299 monster), and I've received a 297 blue heavy, as well as a couple 292/293's. They are rare, but they will eventually come. But like I said, sometimes the court is the better choice. More engrams than strikes, in less the time. Hope this helps, and good luck. Once you hit 300, and start getting the occasional 310 exotics, you'll jump up a few more levels rather quickly, by equipping your best 310 exotics and using the other ones to infuse into your best, highest legendary gear. Then, all you can do is raid to continue progressing. For now, at least.

Wow, thank you very much Smoke for all the tips. I did get a 297 blue auto from a legacy strike earlier this week... Which is just unreal to me and I have had some decent luck at CoO before. I'm not in a huge hurry for 310 or even 301, but I'm just waiting until 300 to start my next character so of course it makes that grind from 296 - 300 THAT much slower.

No prob, man. Don't forget to save any high blue gear engrams too. In case you didn't know.... Say you have a warlock with level 300 gloves. Then you get 299 blue warlock gloves. SAVE THEM AND MOVE THEM TO YOUR OTHER CHARACTER. Get on your (hunter). Infuse the 299 warlock gloves into your hunter's 293 gloves. Bam, now you have hunter 299 gloves. This is common knowledge by now, but I've come across many Guardians who don't know this. I took a 170 hunter up to a 298 in about 1 hour. I had also saved some legendary engrams, one of each gear type for the hunter. Once I leveled up to around 280 using high warlock blues, I turned in the legendaries, and used the highest remaining blues I had to infuse into those. So yeah, in under an hour, I had a Hunter decked out in full legendaries, pushing level 300. Play smart, not hard ;)
