I almost think the shortage was intended to encourage the dismantling of year one weapons.

Yeah and I don't think it'll be fixed anytime soon. I have to consolidate all my parts between my three chars because I'm always running low.

Year 1 weapons give like 7+ parts per gun compared to the TTK guns that only give out 2 parts max. So yeah your theory makes sense.

i dismantled a bunch of year one weapons xcept for like vision and her benevolence casue those were my favorite. only got like 100 parts
