I lost my dog recently, her name was Daisy, best companion I ever had. Dogs are like family members, very powerful and loving creatures. I'd like to convey my sincerest condolences to you OP.

So true... I understand how hard it is to grasp it OP... I had mine since day one, and then It's gone and it's so hard to process it... You and anyone else who has gone through this have my deepest sympathies...
