Lol I understand completely. First off, I guess YOU didn't understand my post. I was simply pointing out that RNG is being discussed because it was our primary way to obtain exotics ( besides buying them from Lou Xur or doing exotic bounties, which were also RNG as to when you would get them). It is 100% normal to compare/contrast old method vs. new. That is why RNG is being discussed so much. Ok RNG rant over. On to your next point. When you say "we are happy for them to release the quests over time", you obviously haven't read the first few pages of the original thread (OP made a lengthy edit after my original post) There are an ass ton of people crying about the timed release content, that has nothing to do with the specificity of when you have to do them. Those were the people I was addressing. Thirdly, yes a lot of people are upset that you have to play a certain day/time to do these quests. But guess what? There are equally as many people that don't care about it. We check the forums, read one of the 462 posts about the mission of the day, and do it. Or we don't, and wait for next week. News flash, it isn't that big of a deal to a lot of us. Do you know how long I had to wait for a Ghorn? A lot longer than a week or two. If life gets in the way and I can't be one of the special snowflakes who gets it first try, I'm ok with that. I know for a fact (through talking with friends and reading posts in this thread) that there are many others like me who just really don't care that much to get all butt hurt and run to the forums calling people tools. I have played many games/mmo's where I have paid for the content, but didn't receive a every single weapon or piece of gear. Whether it be because I didn't get high enough raid level, I didn't get lucky with RNG, or I simply didn't grind the way others did. I still had fun playing and wasn't crying because I didn't have every single last bit of everything a game had to offer. I'm not some old geezer, but I'm definitely no spring chicken, and I never thought I'd be one of those "these kids today" type of guys, but this "me me me" "now now now" generation we live in is pretty pathetic. And finally, what kind of tool am I? I hope you don't think I'm something boring like a hammer or a wrench. I fancy myself a 15 amp super sawzall reciprocating saw. Those are awesome. You seem like you might be the leaf blower type, just a guess.
