I think TTK was great but they are making it very grindy.
There hasn't been a big release of guns and gear. People are generally looking the same and using the same few guns.
The raid is pretty much just being farmed now and we pop in for a new timed released exotic now and then.
The fact is that the game is just lacking content and people are getting bored. Destiny needs a major content release and every installment just feels like a DLC.

Every game will "lack content" if you only do ONE thing. I don't have enough hours in the day to do all the things in this game that I want to do. Haven't even done the raid to completion...and still have tons of stuff to do. Haven't even finished all the Taken War missions on my third character.

This quests were horrible they are just forcing you to go on patrol and wait around lol

I like endgame PVE and PVP. I read above an 8th grade level so mind numbing grind doesn't appeal to me. I actually like a challenge.

I have two university degrees. I like to relax and have fun when I play games.

Everyone plays games for different reasons and we can find different things fun. To me doing to same quest on a different character doesn't count as more content.

It isn't more content. But experience the game from a different perspective, and with a different set of powers IS a different experience. You seem to be one of those people who have a high need for novelty. I'm not. Which is why I said that this might not be the game for you. Because the FPS nature of Destiny's game play is not going to act as a limit upon the amount of raw "content" it can put out. If you expect it to actually WORK well.
