[quote]“They were saying, like, ‘Hey, random numbers are not fun—dice rolls are not fun. You can give the illusion of randomness, but you want to weight it towards the player… The only point you have to deliver on is that when people leave your game—because they will—when they leave your game, they need to be happy.’”[/quote]Let's settle this. Are the Diablo III devs right. Are random numbers not fun? Is Bungie in the right for pushing random rewards? Is there a middle ground? Vote!
Edit: Bungie should heed these results. The overwhelming majority like the idea of RNG in theory but not practice. Whatever Bungie is doing to affect randomness in our favor, it isn't working.

I play D&D, so I think dice rolls are fun. I'm also a computer programmer, so I find random numbers fun......I'm weird.
