Imprecation/the First Curse
Waiting an entire week just to continue a questline is frustrating enough; and when you're required to complete more increasingly difficult steps afterward, it makes the overall experience frustrating. Such as the quest for the First Curse. Two weeks ago I thought to myself, "the First Curse looks like a fun gun, I think I'll grind some strikes using Three of Coins". Little did I know the First Curse is only obtainable by reaching rank five in gunsmith reputation. One week later (upon reaching rank five) I got to work on the quest when lo and behold I need to wait for armsday deliveries. No one likes waiting, this is a video game I don't want to wait for the fun to begin. Now, after waiting a week, expecting to just walk up to the gunsmith and pick up my new gun; he gives me the crappiest hand cannon I've ever seen. To top it off the next step requires me to get a precision kill streak of seven in the crucible! How do you expect me to not only complete an improbable feat, but at the same time stacking the odds against me by restricting me to the use of one bad gun? Frankly it's just unfair to assume your entire player base is full of crucible champions.

Guys. Relax. That precision kill streak in crucible only requires that you get 7 precision kills in one game, not in one life. Now I know they biffed it pretty hard with respect to an accurate description, but if that's too hard a feat for you, maybe hand cannons aren't your thing. Seriously, maybe you would just be better off with a nice broken Red Death. Give it a shot; gauntlets with hand cannon reload make life much easier.

Yeah force players to play broken pvp thats riddled with two burst kill pulses. It takes three headshots to put someone down with that HC. I land two and right before i land the third i die to a pulse rifle. This will be put on the back burner since HC are nerfed to hell and have no real use in the game anymore. Poor reserve ammo in pve. Poor accuracy at medium to semi-long range. HC just took a huge hit from the thorn dominating pvp and now HC wont see a buff for a long time just like AR did in year one. Have fun with your first curse gaurdians who are pvp elite because we all know that youll use that instead of a scout or pulse right?

I know that it really is frustrating and most of the time you just want to throw your controller at the screen, but an incredible gun requires a very hard quest to get. And believe me it's worth it. I've seen people and have been 2 shot by people with the first curse. It's basically a thorn without the burn.

When I get to that part of the bounty, I will just cheese it with two friends. I hate crucible parts of quests.

I don't know, took me about 5 tries to get the kills in one game. Hard, but not impossible. And if you are still having trouble, get a couple friends and cheese each other in rumble. Not the cleanest way to finish it, but it will work

Yeah, i pretty much gave up after getting 3 or 4 and losing then after the match. Idk who writes the descriptions for these quests, but he does a shitty job and should be fired

I seriously think Bungie don't bother their arses testing weapons in a PvP situation. That hand cannon is beyond a disgrace. 3 hits for a critical kill? Unacceptable. 99% of the time you're dead after your 2nd shot. There is absolutely no range what-so-ever, once you get close enough, expect to be obliterated by a conspiracy theory -D or an overpowered Titan melee. To top it all off the hit identification in crucible is embarrassingly broken. Yet another Bungie screw up. Whoever came up with the idea for this quest is a genuine idiot and should not be involved with producing video games.

The streak is for PvE where you need to kill 7 enemies fast and the only way to do that is by using its triple tap perk. However I do think the whole waiting part is stupid.
