So first everyone complains that they can't get an exotic gun that's from rng and now ppl complain that they can get an exotic by doing quests? Would u rather wait a week for a gun? Or 5 months before u get a gun? That's how long it took for me to get my gjallarhorn

Yes, but you could have gotten your Gally on the first day. My issue is all these exotics quests are not actually discoverable, and it is up to Bungie when we can actually do them. The having to wait a week for Armsday or reset is annoying and a little stupid, but it isn't the major problem with the current set up, IMO. Having said that, I reached rank 5 with Gunsmith last week and got the First Curse quest. I spent 10 minutes doing the first step and then got told to wait a week before I can even finish doing the quest steps. That particular case of the waiting mechanic is down right retarded.

Idk I guess I'm more patient than others because I'm not in a rush to get everything. I feel like it takes a week to do nightfalls, Raids, strikes, and some crucible on all characters so I'm occupied while waiting for the new gun

It isn't really about patience. It is just a silly mechanic. Am I in a rush to get everything, no, but at the same time if things were discoverable we would have other things we could do. Instead, we get told when we can or can not do a mission or get a weapon. Which is lame, IMO.

I guess YA they should have at least had all of these quests in the game already and not randomly drop them

It's just less shitty than being stabbed. a time gate is a terrible mechanic, and frankly it's just as lazy and stupid as rng.

I'd rather do a hard quest and wait a week for a gun than do countless nightfalls, raids, strikes, crucible matches for months hoping to get a gun and it's not Guaranteed

I'd rather do 4 hard quests than wait through one time gate. Look, no one here is saying RNG isn't shitty. but timegates are JUST as lazy.

Op never said anything about not liking quests for guns, just that time gating them is bullshit. And it is absolutely bullshit. I would rather earn whatever gun I'm going for, but not by waiting a week at one point in the middle of the quest for no real reason. Not many other games have such little respect to their players to do this.

So what's ur suggestion? Give us all exotic quests and rewards to do at once? We would all be done in 1 week

implying that only the 2 are an option. Bungie has the ability to remove timegates from quests, and content, and allow the community to get their gear at their own pace. We don't need timegates, we don't need RNG. Can't Bungie just make add an extra step to the quests rather then forcing us to stop.
