I don't think many of you understand. The "well it's RNG, deal with it or stop playing" brigade. You people are utter morons, a significant part of weekly events have literally no point to them. The XP/Rep buff is gone and the drops are still shit. The nightfall is 90% a complete waste of time. Yet this is ok to you?
Edit: People still don't get it, you can just BUY three of coins. Why perform a weekly activity when it's going to give you easily obtained consumables? What is the point in making it a nightfall at all when you get better gear from just doing heroic strikes. Consumables shouldn't be in the loot table, neither should strange coins unless it's going to be a lot.

This is the first Nightfall since the patch. smh do a months worth then if you haven't gotten anything worthwhile you have the right to bitch. until then u know the rest.

1 ReplyI soloed the nightfall this week with my warlock. Now beating the nightfall SOLO feels like a "I feel I'm going to get the best exotic there is" adrenaline rushes through brain while screen is taking me back to reward screen, and TADA!!! Here is some strange coins for you cuz your an idiot for soloing the nightfall. Fml. Theory: move the strange coin rewards to heroic strikes and all that other dumb stuff like ghost, weak weapons that are below 280. Year one nightfall was the right way. This year is having a lot of trouble.

You have the potential to get 10 nightfall quality rewards from ultra kills, so basically your one nightfall turned into 10. You can buy 3 of coins but you can also buy exotics. You have 10 chances at getting a 310 exotic.

1 ReplyI don't really care much about nightfalls, there pretty easy usually and they've always been a slave to the great RNG no matter how much tweeking they do it's still just random. The thing that pisses me off more is crap loot drops in the raid, nothing but moldering shards all the way thru and after oryx he takes my 20 moldering shards and gives me 2 in return! That's βυιιshiτ!!

Finished it with two characters, both got an over 300 Legendary. I'll probably use one as upgrade fodder since I don't like it's stats, but that is still going to level up something. I made out the best at 2/2 (ran it a third time but only have two characters), the guys I ran with went 1/3 and 0/3. The 0/3 received one high 290 legendary, coins, and an exotic. But he's high level so the legendary may not even be fodder for him, and the exotic he already had. I think a lot of non-raiders would have liked his drops. Pretty much all non-raid stuff is useless for me now... but nightfall was just made useful again. Yeah, it's still random.

Are you really complaining after ONE week from YOUR experience. I made a post asking people what they got and there are tons of people very happy after this week. Legendaries can drop over 300 now which is awesome. Sooooo why tf you bitchin?

My friend got 19 strange coins from it last night; I got a 310 exotic helmet. Rewards are still hit and miss like they've always been, but when you do get a good drop they're actually useful.

Strange coins are good. They buy exotics, three of coins (exotics 1-in 7/8 coins) Armour glass and a sht ton of other stuff. Heavy annoying synth that's almost essential for raiding.

This week I got Dealbreaker with a pretty roll. First time since TTK that NF didn't give me Ruinwake. Although my buddy got 2 strange coins. An improvement from last week's 1 strange coin. One -blam!-ing coin! So this week he got a 100% improvement on drops? I don't think so. Their system is still broken. Although, the improved drop rate for unique legendaries seemed to have worked in my favor this week as I finally got the pain cloak (my other two friends didn't get the drop)! Now I just need the arc and void cloaks. I think we'll need another week to see if the "improvement" actually is in place.

I'd rather have the coins. Two nightfall and got 300 lvl ghosts. Did the crucible weekly and got a 303 ghost. I've gotten 4 ghosts from the raid thats higher. On a side note....selling 300+ lvl ghosts...jk
