No, I want a damn vendor that sells materials. Weapon parts, armor materials, patrol materials like Spirit Bloom and Relic Iron. All of that stuff for glimmer or motes of light or even allow us to trade one material for the other. If I have over 700 armor materials and only 50 weapon parts, I should be allowed turn a couple hundred of those armor materials into weapon parts. If I have 200 pointless motes of light, I should be able to put them to use and purchase something with them. Seriously, this is such a simple idea that just improves the game tenfold from the awful farming one has to do that is RNG based. An alternative option for those who have the means of affording it. Why something like this has yet to be implemented is beyond me, but it sure as hell says something about Bungie from a game design stand point.

  • Where have you been? You can go to the vanguard quartermaster and buy relic iron helium filaments etc. for marks. Weapon parts on the other hand I am still waiting to buy those

  • Oh yeah, spending that amount of marks on such a small amount of materials. Totally worth the purchase. Yeah no. Something as valuable as marks should not be the currency to purchase something as simple as materials. Especially at the amount of materials they offer for the amount of marks demanded. A dumb economy.

  • Are you new to destiny? Serious question because when they first introduced marks you could always buy from the quartermasters and marks were rendered useless after a very short time so people were able to stock up on stuff like that.

  • Nah, been playing Destiny since launch and endured an entire year of awful game design one "expansion" after the other. And you just answered your own question. The Vanguard marks were rendered useless because they had next to no use after you bought the things you wanted with them. Legendary marks however are different. They're a currency we all use to make constant infusions, until the day we all reach 310 (LOL). Unlike Vanguard marks, Legendary marks retain a consistent use. A rather poor comparison between the two.

  • I dunno I meant the vanguard crucible were useless after a while so I then decided to keep buying consumables so I have a healthy amount of all of them I kinda don't see what you mean by I answered my own question I'm a little slow
