I think it's fine as is. I get killed by, and have a harder time dealing with, Stormtrance way more than I do by Hammer of Sol. If you are at mid to long range you are hard to hit with a hammer. If you are close all you have to do is jump over their head. I've killed a number of Sunbreakers by jumping above them and unloading invective on the way down. As a possible alternative, I think it would be interesting to have suncharge be the main attack and the hammer toss be an optional ability to be selected (like Suncharge is now) that would take a little extra super to use. The main reason I picked a Titan in the beginning is because I like playing the heavily armored tank characters. I was very disappointed to find out that a max armor Titan is only slightly more durable than a Warlock (I'm not taking exotics into account on that statement) and almost unnoticeable in pvp. If it were up to me I would give Titans noticeably higher durability, change the lift ability to function more like the Cabal jumpjets (powerful but with a cooldown period between uses so Hunters can not only be the most agile but the fastest as well) to curb the effects of Titan skating, and make it so their abilities are slow but powerful (like a hammer should be) so careful use is rewarded and spamming the battlefield leads to a wasted ability.
