Snipers is false.
You survive it even with the lowest armor.

False

True. Armor doesn't effect DR.
-
Dont let destiny fool you, in a way it does. Probably has something to do with damage calc. I don't run full armor and get OHK by GG and 1000 milimeter stare.
-
Yet Armor only seems to raise health. Ex: Ram Every SB I have crit has done 188. And there is no way they ALL ran max armor.
-
Yeah they all ran max armor. You're talking about a class thats had the worst pvp supers for slaying potential. Its not hard to believe anyone wouldn't use a tactic or weapon to give them a huge advantage, especially coming from the community thats 90% exotic hand cannon abusers. There's evidence all around, a non max armor SB will be one shot with GG bottom line.
-
Edited by GHOST 9o5: 10/18/2015 5:48:59 AMYou clearly no nothing. GG, does EXACTLY 197 to a SunBreaker. No armor, max armor, doesn't matter. Guess what a Titan's HP can go up to? 200. But you're probably sitting around 198 or 199. That's why you survive. Please get this through your thick heads. Every. Single. Titan.
-
Sorry can't respect the fact that you insist your right. GG one hits a non max armor SB. Play a sunbreaker before you throw around facts. Its really funny when people are this blind, especially when they have nowhere as near as much experience. I even run the extra armor perk on my chest and still can't take sniper headshots from ldr types.
-
Edited by GHOST 9o5: 10/18/2015 6:07:35 AMThis is where I completely shut you down.
Blind
>Calls me blind, can't see I basically said only max armors survive. Good job.
No experience.
My experience is all the Titans that I headshot in the Crucible and my knowledge of in-game mechanics. Armor equates to health. If I don't run max armor on my Hunter, I do to a Tripmine because I only had 194 or less health. If I spec for more armor, it doesn't make the damage of the Tripmine go down. It makes my health greater in quantity, above 194, so that I can survive it.
I still die to LDR archetypes
Nice blatant lie. As I said to another, the DR is at 55% at ALL times during the super without any buffs. http://xboxclips.com/GHOST+9o5/0295ab18-0157-429e-b8cd-66814c3ccd31 417 to 188 is a 55% damage reduction. Please GTFO.
-
Not shut down
armor doesn't effect DR.
This is clearly false seeing as armor does matter when using GG or snipers against a sunbreaker. From what I've seen you've only restated what I've said. High armor can survive, while low armor cant. Fact. Ask any sunbreaker thats been GG without running full armour can make claims.
-
Edited by GHOST 9o5: 10/18/2015 6:42:01 AMDid you completely miss the part about health? If you do not run max armor, you likely have less than or are at 197 health. If you have more, you survive. It is always 197 no matter what. The difference is how much armor you spec into. AKA how many health points you have. Have less than 197 l? Too bad. More, you live. It doesn't affect DAMAGE RESISTANCE. It does however effect your HEALTH. More health = more survivability.
Just accept that you're wrong. It isn't that hard. I've provided facts and logic, you just state the obvious.
Edit: Armor doesn't matter against Snipers.. As it only does 188 damage. No class can go that low in maximum health. Yeah, you were shut down.
-
Armor obviously does make a difference on damage resistance. I've hit different number on a ramlock with guns before in regular crucible. I can evwn say i do more damge to lower armored hunter as well. The damage doesn't seem as cooki cuttered as it seems because too many people claim to be snoped out of HoS. If i see 1000 yard stare and a headshot icon clearly in the corner of my screen with only 1 person around, i got headshotted by a sniper. If i deal 29 damage to a hunter or 26 damage to a ram lock, obviously there is something going on that has an outside effect that i can only diagnose as altered damage resistance. I seriously doubt that people make this stuff up. I could see if i was an outlier, but too many reports indicating that they've been OHK while running low armor will outwheigh one pwraon who doesn't evwn have the class leveled up.... The evidence you provided actually qorked against you because the guy you sniped ran max armor so that clip isnt even viable
try again
Next time take a buddy in rumble and use controlled testing and moat importantly experience .

Edited by GHOST 9o5: 10/18/2015 7:15:09 AMWhen I played pre-2.0, I head shotted a Ramlock with Thorn for 85 dmg. The same for any other class. However, it took three headshots to kill them. Why? Well, let's use logic here. RAM gave extra health. Enough extra health to allow you to survive a 2-shot. It didn't reduce the amount of damage taken, it added more health so that you could survive it. Explain why when I Shoulder Charged a normal character, I get 200 damage, but when I did it to a Ramlock, I still did 200, but they survived? Same thing with Suntle Nudge archetype snipers? 217 to everyone, but can't kill a Ramlock?
Oh right. Because they had MORE THAN 200 HEALTH. The RAM added HEALTH. It had 5+ armor according to Bungie.Source: patch 2.0
I shut you down again. And you did less damage to a Ramlock? Ever heard of damage drop off? I'm texting a brick wall. A retarded brick wall, at that. Edit: Don't bother replying. It's obvious that you're only going to look at it your way. IlThis is legitimately the first time I've seen a Titan say they can't survive LDR sniper shots.
-
Edited by Chaos Technique: 10/18/2015 7:14:35 AMDamage drop of pre 2.0 lol kek. Doesn't explain why i did extra damage though... k. Lmqo just ask around 1 vs 100 doesn't look like you're too right. Probably going to post more clips of sniping max armor SB and screaming "see it doesn't work". Get more evidence
-
Edited by GHOST 9o5: 10/18/2015 7:18:28 AMI swear your dumbass doesn't read half of my replies. My evidence is Patch 2.0 and the RAM and my example of Shoulder Charge, and my experience with Tripmine, which I have made an example of as well. Please don't reply. I'm done talking with idiots you can't comprehend nor read posts. You are a legitimate retard/troll.
-
And you know this how? Your Titan isn't even 40 so I can't take your word from experience.
-
Edited by GHOST 9o5: 10/18/2015 3:40:52 AMBecause Damage Resistance sits at 55% 417 to 188 proves that. 188 isn't enough to kill a Titan. Or anyone. Edit: I could easily show you a clip showing me requiring two-sniper headshots from a SunBreaker. But I'd have to use my mother's laptop.
-
Then explain how I've been one shot many many times by a sniper
-
You were shot by someone. Then the sniper shot you. Mind telling me what kind of sniper?
-
There have been multiple snipers and I when I kill people around me and get cauterize and my health refills then I die. It's because I was one shot
-
I was looking at it today and cauterize isn't as op as all seem to think. If I get cauterize but damaged immediately after I don't gain my full health back, it stops recovering from the point I was hit which means if I kill someone but another person is firing, I won't gain life back.
-
That's how recovery works, it doesn't keep going regardless of being fired upon
-
Right, I was agreeing with what you were saying... Just in an odd way.
-
Nope. Only Efrideets, Black Hammer, and Spindle with no extra perks can one-shot a SunBreaker. Fact.
-
Not fact, I'll run around tonight with low armor spec and see how many times I get dropped.
-
Armor doesn't affect Damage Resistance. It's fact.
