Simple solution; adjust perks and base stats of year 1 gear and allow them to be infused. This makes year 1 less obsolete and adds diversity to the game (of which, currently, there is very little e.g. hunter basic legendary options: aspriet, bog wild and nueroghast.. + ugly raid gear)
