Sometimes I wonder the same thing, but sunbreak and gg do not have the same range. Golden gun can kill from sniper range with over the horizon. Giving it damage reduction would be like giving a sniper and overshield every time they eauipped it. I'm assuming you hate the idea of tanky camping snipers as much as I do?
