I main a warlock and in my opinion the only thing that needs to be adjusted with the Sunbreakers is an armor decrease. As a warlock when I activate and use stormcaller I can easily be killed by many things. I have been headset by a sniper, 2 enemies shooting me at once and I kill one but the other guy kills me, GG one shot kills me and the list goes on and on. The fact is, it's balanced. That's the way every class super should be set up. If you aren't smart when you choose to activate your super or don't know how to use the environment as a cover then you deserve to die. The problem with Sunbreakers is their armor. They just have too much of it. A GG should be able to one shot kill them, a sniper should be able to one shot headshot kill them and if 2-3 players are shooting a Sunbreaker then yes he/she should get 1-2 kills before they die but they shouldn't be able to kill all 3 people (still having all their armor and health STILL) and then move on to more people killing them and when all said and done they killed the entire team. I have, for the most part, stayed out of this argument and haven't cried or complained on the forums but after playing IB yesterday for a few hours, I can see why everyone has been complaining about Sunbreakers.

  • Except all that stuff does happen. Even with Max armor stats(and not using the Solar chest piece) I get one shot by GG. I get one shot by other hammers. I haven't bad anyone try to rocket or snipe me yet. But I've been killed by two or three guys, the only consolation I barely got the one hammer off to kill them. The problem is that the thing that everyone bitched about, their armor? Is mainly because of a -blam!-ing chest piece. That a Stormcaller could get, a Sunsinger could get. How -blam!-ing OP is a Self Rez Sunsinger? With their OHK melee after self rez, paired alongside super armor, solar armor, and an over shield from melee? All the while they're STILL in super after self rezzing, so I hope you don't mind more overshields and some fusion grenades!(or Firebolt) Any class, with the exception of Defender...cause well, Defender...can be Awesome if played right. However they are usually the exception. I see Stormcallers wipe a team within 3 seconds of the super. However,I can also appreciate it can be a bit easier to kill. The other day in IB I sacrificed myself- I knew a stormcaller was coming around a corner so I rushed him with a shotgun, and a teammate was able to finish him off. I still died. I probably saved his life- the lightning would've chained to him if I had stayed near him. That being said, Storm trance is a pretty powerful super. It has enough range for most situations on these tight maps and it's chaining destroys teams that work and stay together. Because of that it's a bit shorter, and doesn't get any(or much damage resistance.) Shadowshot...I think it shouldn't make you flinch as much. I got tethered, was one trigger pull from killing the guy who used it, but when the tether attached suddenly I'm looking at my feet. The tether could stand to activate a bit faster- its meant to supress people, make the supression actually work. Tracking on it can be a bit...much at times, but it's not too bad.
