I completely agree my whole problem with the expansion is the fact of the loss of our raid gear that was earned by dozens of runs through the raids. This is not an mmo in the traditional sense so the old all gear becomes obsolete argument is irrelevant. There simply is not enough gear to make up for the loss of old gear. I'm sure not one person playing traditional mmo games enjoys loosing the functionality of their old raid gear. Most mmo also have a incredible amount of gear/weapons in them. Destiny does not. Also having to infuse a weapons from ~150 to 300 is not a trivial task. This in and of itself should keep older weapons from dominating people's inventories for the next several months.

  • I'm sure they will give us what "they" want except it will be close to the launch of the new game. If that's the case I won't even bother with wasting my time in that case. Just like I stopped playing shortly after HoW. Why grind for countless hours for everything to become useless. The fact we have less exotics now kind of speaks for itself as well. I have and had such high expectations for this game. While they do listen to the community on a narrow range of topics they need to do more for the day one players to keep us around.

  • I think that one post I saw had a rather excellent point. Bungie pays too much attention to all the wrong things.

  • They need to take more advice from people that want what is best for the game. Some of us have been playing video games longer than Bungie has been a company has been around or longer than the lives of half of the player base. I am absolutely certain that most of what some us have asked for would improve the game and in the end increase profits. There are over a dozen "grindy mmos", I don't think that's the way for this game to go.

  • The Grind Driven ones are all outdated too. People stopped caring about those kinds of cookie cutter MMOs that are all re-skinned versions of each other. Games like Guild Wars were the final nail in the coffin for monthly subscription fees, which was the beginning of the end for things like WoW. The only people who stick with World of Warcraft are the truly addicted. Same is true for Destiny. Meanwhile, other games like TERA and Mabinogi seek to innovate and offer all new experiences for Gamers to enjoy. Innovation wins. Always.
