With all the Sunbreaker haters out there, I wanna see what Titan mains have to say about their subclass. [spoiler]y'know, i just remembered that curiosity did kill the cat[/spoiler] Edit: 50+ replies, keep 'em coming! The majority of you call for a slight armor nerf so more snipers and a GG shot can one shot it, which is pretty resonable. Edit 2: 100+ replies, let's keep going! Again, a lot of you call for the armor nerf, but I see some movement nerfs or Cauterize nerfs in there as well. Edit 3: Over 650 replies, holy crap. Again, as usual, armor nerfs take prevalence over all other suggestions. And to all not Titan mains, please revite accurately as to not screw with the poll. I seriously doubt less than 20% of voters are not Titan mains. Edit 4: STAP BLOWING UP MY PHONE PLZ But seriously, I'm glad to see so many people in this usually salty as -blam!- community being so positive and having polite debates. Shows we have hope for a few more years. Edit 5: Over 1,000 replies! Woot. Armor takes prevalance yet again, but some more movement speed during super nerfs have popped up here and there. Keep commenting guys!

  • Armor reduction. Seriously, it will hardly make a difference. Can you guys honestly say you get GG shot or sniper domed even 20% of the time? I spec for max recovery and some agility so a GG shot and a sniper head shot will 1 shot me every time. Yet I have never been killed by sniper and GG has killed me at full health maybe 5 times.

    Either nerf armor from 55 to 50 (same as BD) or overhaul the class, making more perks useful outside of Hammer of Sol, in exchange for some power taken off the super. But honestly I think the only problem is the Solar Armor perk on armor. That's the thing that stops GG one shotting and only leaving the Titan with a minicscule amount of health. Without Solar Armor it one shots HoS. Maybe make it so Solar Armor perk disables when in super or something, only active outside of supers?

    I main as a titan and this is the most reasonable Nerf 1. Reduced number of hammers from 7 to 5 2. 60% chance of health regeneration If they nerf it though they should give us better perks like a solar blink

    • Either just a slight nerf to the armor, or a larger overhaul to the class itself, putting a bit more power into sunbreakers without HoS at the cost of some of its power in HoS

    • It goes down easy if you shoot it right, hammer are simply to avoid, cost a lot of timer, and does actually survive golden gun unless you use fire keeper.

    • its fine in most ways. only thing wrong with it is the MassiveArmor in my opinion. i main a Titan and from experience i can say its not that easy to use in pvp with how people act once they see you activate your sumbreaker from personal experience everytime i activate my super the enemy force just Disperses and Starts Running away and sometimes if they're ballsy enough act like they're playing Call of Duty AdvancedWarfare and start Jumping around nonstop trying to make you miss and waste your hammers while they shoot at you distract you and gives thier team a chance to unload on you. it happens often for me but i'm learning to predict where they'll be running or jumping 2 so it doesn't work aswell as it used to xD

      • I am a worlock main and I wouldn't mind a little nerf to the damage reduction but it's not the end of the world if there wasn't one though.

      • A simple health decrease for pvp would be fair, it really shouldn't be able to survive all that it does now. I hope whatever comes doesn't impact PvE though.

      • If I mained a Titan my first thing would be to admit Sunbreaker needs to be tweaked....secondly if i was a Titan that had skill I would want it tweaked so that bums wouldn't dismerit my good deeds in crucible and have an excuse...."Your only at the top because your an OP Titan"...Just ask Tom Brady how that works

            I don't believe for an instant that it was all Titan mains that voted for SB needing changes. It was Warlocks and Hunters padding this poll.

          • I think maybe make the hammers fly slower, so they're harder to land. Maybe the health regen only does health not shield. That is all. For the damage reduction, tank is tank.

              • Reduce armour a hair so rockets can one hit a max armour spec titan and slow down the rate in which your health returns after a kill. As like other titan subclasses if you neuter our super you kill the class as we dont have many passive skills that make a powerful class. So this should make it nice and balanced without killing the class.

              • I main titan and i think health should be lowered and cauterize not give back some much health. I was trying my gunslinger for a bit and I'm not going to lie it was a bit frustrating and it surprised me when the first sunbreaker I encountered survived a gg and then killed me instantly with a hammer. I now understand your pain hunters.

                • I don't main a Titan, nor do I hate Sunbreaker. It's a pretty cool super. With that said I think they should move a little slower and have a small damage reduction, or a few less hammers. I mean it's a tank, it shouldn't be the fastest class in the game. Hell, if you set it up to be as such the Warlock can be more of a tank than the Titan.

                  • It definitely needs the damage reduction reduced but that's the only thing that should happen. I use HoS in the raid now because it's amazing for rapidly clearing adds, especially at Golgoroth & Daughters. Also great for killing the Vessel of Oryx. Anything more than a nerf to damage reduction would absolutely wreck this subclass. It's always going to be a top tier super unless they completely overhaul it, which I highly doubt anyone at Bungie wants to do.

                    • Armor lowered to be headshot sniped out, gg one shot. Very little nerf, if it's too much it will be pointless in pve.

                      • I've been maining a titan for about 2 or 3 weeks now and sunbreaker DEFINITELY needs an armor nerf. Not much but enough to where GG can kill you no matter how much armor, mid impact sniper can OHK on a headshot.

                      • Slightly decrease range of hammer, decrease damage reduction by 15, make hammers go slower but increase blast radius and make titan so he cant jump as high as usual. I think this would solve all problems, but pretty much giving a slight damage resistance reduction would do it. Hunters will still whine tho
