With all the Sunbreaker haters out there, I wanna see what Titan mains have to say about their subclass. [spoiler]y'know, i just remembered that curiosity did kill the cat[/spoiler] Edit: 50+ replies, keep 'em coming! The majority of you call for a slight armor nerf so more snipers and a GG shot can one shot it, which is pretty resonable. Edit 2: 100+ replies, let's keep going! Again, a lot of you call for the armor nerf, but I see some movement nerfs or Cauterize nerfs in there as well. Edit 3: Over 650 replies, holy crap. Again, as usual, armor nerfs take prevalence over all other suggestions. And to all not Titan mains, please revite accurately as to not screw with the poll. I seriously doubt less than 20% of voters are not Titan mains. Edit 4: STAP BLOWING UP MY PHONE PLZ But seriously, I'm glad to see so many people in this usually salty as -blam!- community being so positive and having polite debates. Shows we have hope for a few more years. Edit 5: Over 1,000 replies! Woot. Armor takes prevalance yet again, but some more movement speed during super nerfs have popped up here and there. Keep commenting guys!

      If you nerf the armour Stormcallers will melt us even quicker. Only Sunbreakers who have a chest piece that increases armour on a solar subclass AND max out the armour stat on the class itself can survive a golden gun shot. But to spec that build you have to have the lowest agility possible and mediocre recovery. And when you tank that one golden gun shot, like Ward of Dawn does, you are almost dead anyway. Every other complaint made about Sunbreaker is perk related and not worth discussing. Warlocks don't complain they can't throw 3 individual Nova bombs instead of one. But Hunters get quiver. Arguing about perk effectiveness is like complaining someone's better with a specific weapon than you. "Waah, he keeps killing me with his Ash factory before I killed him with my Uppercut payload. Ash factory too OP, pls nerf now! :'(" See how stupid that sounds? [spoiler]I typed this on my phone. I didn't realise it was this long.[/spoiler]

      • Titan! Yes. Sunbreaker needs a little nerf. Nothing huge tho. Possible solution: Sunbreaker needs a 5%-10% lower armor while super is active. Why? So high impact snipers can 1 shot to the head. Golden gun and other supers can kill u too. Heck yeah, even sword can't kill u if u use maximum armor. So the armor is the biggest issue. What about hammers? No. Hammers do not need to be nerfed. Why? Hammer of Sol is maybe most powerful super at this moment, BUT Sunbreaker is only powerful while super is active. What do i mean? Well, Sunbreaker does not have that great passive skills. There are only 3 passive skills and 2 of them are in same category tree. Sunbreaker is all about seahawk wielding powerhouse. Why not reduceing amount of hammers? If bungie reduces amount of hammers, Sunbreakers will be useless. The fact that Sunbreakers do not have passive skills, makes them one of the worst non super character. Bungie could nerf health regen in a way that in pvp, health regen is delayed.       • I like the damage and mobility. I think all that should be done is a slight damage resistance, so that GG can one shot IF the sunbreaker isn't running max armor + solar armor chest.

      • I'm gonna say I think the Sunbreaker is fine as is, warlocks seem to be able to do just fine against them. If you nerf Sunbreaker, then stormcaller will be extremely OP. But I will then add that that golden gun has SOMEWHAT of an argument to increase the damage (I'm on the fence about this one. I trade with golden gun quite often, their two fast shots for my one. How much more balanced could that be?) and that shadowshot should immediately suppress the person it hits if it doesn't kill them, then tether to others as usual.

      • Small reduce to armor but there is a perk on most chest plates that gives you an armor boost when using a solar subclass. That with max armor is the only way to resist a golden gun shot.

      • I think a small shield Nerf or 1-2 less hammers in pvp only, don't screw the subclass for pve, although we know a pvp Nerf f's over pve.

      • Devout Titan, here. I simply want more strategy required. I dislike that you need only spam and destroy heedlessly, as it gives undeserved power to the unskilled. This is why we now see so many Titan hop-ons now, because it doesn't take an extreme measure of adeptness to operate as a Sunbreaker (whilst your super is activated). With that said, both Cauterize and Forgemaster are fine. However, I think they should move them into the same tier, which would prompt a choice between one or the other, for starters. Additional adjustments are needed to compensate PVE players for this mitigation, and to make up for the fact that the subclass itself has little to no value beyond the Hammer of Sol.

        • I believe that they should die to high impact snipers and at least a shot gun and a mele and storm trance should get the shield HoS has because storm trance has a time to kill HoS basically has no time to kill

        • Honestly, I think Hammer of Sol is the thing that makes Sunbreaker viable. I don't main any one class, but if you look at the play time for any of my characters, Titan is the highest. I only think they should nerf it if they buff the rest of the subclass. If not, it should remain the same.

        • They have to fix the class from the start,or dont change it,titans are slow,they dont have blink,worst melee in the game,useless perks,and now SB has only the super,if they want to nerf the class they have to remake it from the start with better perks

          Nerf the tracking hammers just a little bit Or nerf cauterize to where it restores a third of your health not all of it considering how easy it is to get kills with the super

          • Never really felt OP, cause a super can only be countered with a super to be fair. And Foh ain't that magnificent since its a one time deal. I like having a hunter feel on a Titan class (mobile super platform)

            • Minor tweak to armour/ recovery. ....... lately I have noticed warlocks are able to melee kill them!? :s

            • Real titan main. Lower armor buff just a little, so it can be shut down in one shot by golden gun or headshot by high impact sniper, add a delay of 1 or 2 seconds before cauterize starts. Problem solved. No gutting of the super needed.

              • Just bring the damage mitigation in line with Blade Dancers and we're golden. It's not that hard to combat as is and I've run into plenty of people that can counter it quite nicely.

              • Even though I main my Titan, I know Sunbreaker needs a little nerf. Golden gun should one shot SB. High impact sniper head shots should one shot SB.

              • Cauterize needs to go. The over shield one is very good and people can use that. Damage reduction needs to be brought in line with the other supers. With these changes it will still be one of the best supers, but counterable
