With all the Sunbreaker haters out there, I wanna see what Titan mains have to say about their subclass. [spoiler]y'know, i just remembered that curiosity did kill the cat[/spoiler] Edit: 50+ replies, keep 'em coming! The majority of you call for a slight armor nerf so more snipers and a GG shot can one shot it, which is pretty resonable. Edit 2: 100+ replies, let's keep going! Again, a lot of you call for the armor nerf, but I see some movement nerfs or Cauterize nerfs in there as well. Edit 3: Over 650 replies, holy crap. Again, as usual, armor nerfs take prevalence over all other suggestions. And to all not Titan mains, please revite accurately as to not screw with the poll. I seriously doubt less than 20% of voters are not Titan mains. Edit 4: STAP BLOWING UP MY PHONE PLZ But seriously, I'm glad to see so many people in this usually salty as -blam!- community being so positive and having polite debates. Shows we have hope for a few more years. Edit 5: Over 1,000 replies! Woot. Armor takes prevalance yet again, but some more movement speed during super nerfs have popped up here and there. Keep commenting guys!

  • As a titan, i think it would be abit more balanced if move speed and jump were severely reduced, making you more of a slow moving tank rather than just flying round the map nuking everyone

      • Nothing, I main a striker. Even without a super sunbreakers aren't tough to kill. You hear the clank, make some distance, pull out your sniper and 2 tap him. Problem solved.

      • Since we are the tank class make us alot slower when we activate super. Like alot, near walking speed. That is all

      • Needs just a bit of armor reduction, like a 25% nerf on it will be about right. Bladedancers armor I think is the perfect amount of armor for it.

      • I run all three, but since TTK started I've been using my hunter. Soooo honestly my opinion doesn't really "matter", but slower health regen would be best.

      • My main Character is a Titan ... it definitely needs a tweak I think they should : 1.) Decrease the blast radius of the Hammer ( 1 hammer thrown is like one Nova bomb ) OR 2.) Max out the hammers thrown to like 3 or 4 like golden gun (speed up how fast the super drains a bit ) I don't feel that they need to decrease the Titans armor when they use there super .. every class is tough to kill when they have full health when they pop there super and are in close range of you already - and I would only say one of these not both I guess ... but this is just my opinion of course I'm sure there's also some better ideas out there ... these are just obvious ones

          • I managed to hit a sniper from clear across the map by lobbing up a hail mary in that direction. It ended up in a double kill. OP? Yes a little. Hilarious? Absolutely.

          • It needs to be combined with armor lock from Halo: Reach so we can throw the hammers while in invincible lock down.

          • I main a hunter and i dont think it needs to be nerfed. All supers have pros and cons and sunbreaker is no different. Leave it how it is way too many things get nerfed and its awful for the game.

                I think only 2 things need to change about the class: Cauterize and the hammer throws' "wind up". For the wind up I say it needs a delay exactly 0.08-0.11 seconds, and should not effect the hammer's flight speed or any other factors. I know this sounds like an insubstantial difference, but trust me, it's a massive delay. One purpose of this is to ensure that a [b]flanking[/b] Gunslinger can get two shots off without trading kills, unless the (really, really good) sunbro is winding up the throw before he (miraculously) aims exactly where the hunter is. Honestly, it's a bit hard to believe you guys can't do this already. When it comes to the super armor, I can't seriously say "Needing 2 GG shots to put down a Titan super" is wrong. It's just not unfair, when it takes a striker's entire super at melee distance to [b]maybe[/b] achieve the same thing. If I'm wrong about the number of shots and it actually takes all three shots, I apologize, because it should definitely take 2 shots. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the sniper damage vs HoS, so I won't pretend to know exactly what needs to be adjusted. Idk, like 2 shots from high impact? I see two fair options for Cauterize: 1) Trigger on multikills after dealing damage with an ability. It doesn't matter how you kill them, or how many were hit by the abilities. I think this is fair because in PvP it's almost impossible to get ability only multikills outside of your super, and in PvE it would be annoyingly difficult to proc otherwise. I consider this to be the more balanced "fix" between the two options, but that is subjective. It could easily be implemented very badly, unfortunately. 2) The perk triggers standard, plain and simple, health regeneration. Currently, both shields and health regenerate simultaneously, rather than using the delay we normally have between the two. The description indicates (to me) that it would work this way, but doesn't exclude the current mechanism either. This is the objectively more practical "fix" of the two. EDIT: I swear if someone brings my K/D into this I'm going to be really annoyed, because I don't even play sunbro. Believe it or not, I normally play striker with an empty sword hilt for shits and giggles. And when I'm not doing that in PvP, I'm usually playing defender. Why? Because I play for fun.

                  • Sunbreaker is fine. With so many supers, guns, and etc. I believe Bungie has obtained something close to balance. They should just leave it alone.

                    No regen and the ability to one shot with a 1000 hard stare archetype sniler would make it balanced

                    • Slight armor nerf, slightly fewer hammers. High impact snipers should OHK. GG should not OHK, but should leave the Titan on a sliver of health, so that any other damage will finish it off. Hammers are harder to aim and have travel time. GG has massive aim assist and instant/near instant travel. If GG were to OHK, HoS would be completely dominated by gunslingers. To top it off, slightly fewer hammers would make it fairer for the other supers as well.

                      • Lower the armor to match bladedancer (and every other super with armor) reduce the aoe a small amount lower the duration a little bit Signed - a titan since the alpha.
