warlocks have become fairly useless in year 2 so far but just wait it will happen

Warlocks IMO are the best class (I have one of each but main warlock); however, we are a situational class. With a well placed nova bomb you can win a pvp match, Stormcaller can do the same but is much better for those crowds that are farther apart, and sunsinger is your friendly neighborhood crutch in a raid, strike, or nightfall.

yeah i have one of each and i find the warlock least used so far but his day will come. i agree i also think each guardian has their place in this game and are situational.

I haven't seen a useful self Rez in the raid yet, probably will be useful in hard mode

You haven't been with a bad group on sisters or oryx then. Self res has helped me avoid a few wipes at those points.

I've seen people use self res when they die before the shade fight or during the staggering part of the fight. It's good when you want to get that extra dps in, just incase your team isn't able to do it
