Hmm....
How would it determine the Sword used by the player?
Would it require the player to have a sword equipped in order to start the queue for it? If so, many casuals will be displeased.
How would it prevent the players from switching off of their swords?
I foresee changing the weapon while "flying to the location" being the first glitch done with that.
Only thing I could see making this work, is a Kinetic Sword with no Right Trigger ability, and infinite Energy. Possibly enable a Super to be able to be done with it, probably forcing the Right Trigger ability associated with the player's Subclass Element as the ability. (Eg. Sunsinger, Sunbreaker, or Gunslinger using the Super would cause a Phoenix Uppercut). Set this Sword up as a Crucible Relic, sort of like the Spark. Force equip players, and make it impossible to drop it.
I've done it! I've figured out the logistics to make a Swords only Crucible Game Type work!
