The main reason we can't infuse year 1 weapons is because of reforging. Everyone went and rolled their perfect gun so it practically ruined the point of most loot. Unfortunately some weapons that weren't reforgable have to suffer but overall it was probably the right call.

 • If they can make a perk disappear they can make that mechanic disappear. No excuses. They literally have the power to do as they please.

 • They can take the mechanic away but they can't take the guns that already have the perfect rolls away. Look at it like this: if they allow year 1 to be infused everyone complains about how op the older weapons and gear is. If they don't everyone complains about how they miss their old gear that's better than the new gear.

They literally laid all the ground work for allowing Year 1 to be brought forward, yet the community doesn't seem to realize all those changes, and Bungie seems to want people like me to forget about it. :/ I understand your argument, but it's not not valid in leu of the 2.0 patch, man.

 • Agree. This seems like an issue that has no true path to resolve. It would be nice if an effort was made even with small changes and wait for feedback like they have done with many past and current issues. Only problem is not everyone will agree but if the majority comes to an agreement then hopefully others will come to see it as acceptable.

 • They probably would have done that if everyone in the community wasn't so toxic. It's amazing how ignorant most people are here, nobody fact checks anything. The spindle is a prime example, there all all these people complaining about something they were told was going to happen soon. And even if you didn't read the patch notes it was the biggest topic on the forums for a few days. People are trying to hide behind the "they should've told us in game" excuse but in games like this it's up to the users to stay informed of the content they are receiving.
