Then why are they not removing year 1 patrols, strikes, crucible modes and maps, etc.? Exactly.

Have you ever bought a Blu-Ray of an older movie? Same concept. Just because the original Star Wars trilogy came out on VHS doesn't mean that they shouldn't be updated to fit the times with an HD version. And, just like with Destiny, I don't have to stop loving and enjoying my OLD media (year 1) to buy/experience NEW media (year 2).

Oh yeah, didn't you know? They removed Luke Skywalker when they updated Star Wars to Blu-Ray. You'll have to watch it on VHS if you want to see his scenes. Or, you know, for 2500 silver I'd be more than happy to give you full access to the original trilogy in HD including all of the Luke Skywalker scenes...

#BungieLogic But in all seriousness, this game is designed to take advantage of the player either through time or money, preferably both. I do not fault Bungievision for their actions. If I was selling a drug that people loved and I knew I could keep giving them less product for their money, I'd be insane not to take advantage. Too many children with no respect for money is how we got here.

So, I can't fault Bungie for that, realistically. However, on the flip side, my favorite part of capitalism is that we, the consumer, have the ability to take our money [i]elsewhere[/i]. BAM. EDIT- Also, I try to keep in mind that Bungie is still a collection of individuals, at the end of the day, and It's not like I don't want them to be able to support themselves and their families... so, there's that. XC

There's a total lack of respect for money and what it takes to earn it. Maybe these kids need a heavy dose of manual labor to slap some respect into them. Let's spend all afternoon in the Oklahoma sun in August building a retaining wall for a school. I'll pay you minimum wage and not a penny more. Then let's see if they run off to piss away that money.
