A Community Manager's job isn't just relaying info TO the developer; he's also expected to help relay info FROM the developer. :P Again, like you said, they're ultimately limited by what Bungie allows them to do/say, so it's just as likely a LEADERSHIP issue.

  • Right? I love how DeeJ says they "started a conversation" in his stupid update posts. WHAT CONVERSATION??

There's been a few times that they have helped us out, mainly with the Black spindle nerf, but for the most part it does seem to be a 1 way conversation. I really wish they would cut the ropes off people and let them say what they think of the game, No publicity is bad publicity? Either way if they have a game that they are proud of, why can't they let people talk honestly and explain to the crowd with pitchforks outside their doors what is actually going on, but more importantly, why something is going on.

  • For sure, man. Like, right now? I can't help but assume that they're being deceitful because of how SECRETIVE everything has become. If they just came out, said "hey, we screwed up, but we're gonna fix our shit," I'm pretty sure everyone would immediately calm down.
