Since Bolt-caster does AOE damage, it apparently hits the sword wielded in front and behind of the block, thus killing them regardless.

I mean, I've shadesteped out of the way a couple times. I got killed once by it, but wondering what hit me until I saw "bolt caster". Honestly, if you see them going to launch it, just move.
