Well, Ir Anük does follow the law of conservation of energy in that she doesn't weave out of midair, but rather takes the strands pulled apart by her sister.

I think their relationship has more to do with them having different abilities. It Halak can tear worlds apart in such a way that Ir Anûk is able to implement them into Oryx's throne world.
