What does it mean when you get the perk "Times Vengeance" when fighting Atheon?

It means that you have escaped Atheon sending you to get lost in time, but you escape "guardians make thier own fate" and therefore gain times vengeance and do huge bonus damage to Atheon (double or triple damage)
