So Shadowshot should be nerfed in 2016
This ridiculously OP super should be nerfed with the update next week before Iron Banner and Trials launches so these two game modes can be playable.
Shotguns are being destroyed because of hunter's abuse of blinking everywhere(thanks hunters). Shadow shot needs to be nerfed to maintain a balance in PVP. Since this is the goal in the Crucible. This is another OP class that the hunters have.
With a ridiculously high aim assist, Shadowshot can pick you off even if it is shot on a wall or on a ceiling. It's tethered range can grab you from 10 yards away which is insane. This super should be called "panicshot" because it just needs to be shot within the vicinity and everyone around is dead. Trying to get out of being Tethered is impossible as it turns you 180 degrees away from the purple orb and it has the health similar to golgoroth. Also, there is no reason for this to take my super away when I activate it. I'm tired of losing my super when I am on my way down from activating my fist of panic. It's not easy to earn a super in crucible. You may only get one or two super per game because other teammates are stingy with their super and never produce any orbs.
So in conclusion, Shadowshot is ridiculously OP and needs to be nerfed. Hunters are the OP class in the game and has caused Hunters to become Divas in this game and the proof is all over the forums. Make them go back to their other OP class as bladedancer. I am tired of this game being so Hunter Friendly. All classes should be equal.

Edit 2: it's so funny seeing all hunters get all butthurt defensive over this. Similar to the Titans who defend their hammer of sol. Irony. Hunters are the most OP class in the game! That's why 87% of crucible matches contain hunters. I have almost double the amount of Hunter kills than the other two classes. Check your grimoire. It should be the same way. Shadow shot is OP along with the other two subclasses. Warlocks and Titans agree. It's game breaking and Shadowshot is considered a panic super.
MAJOR EDIT: take a look at this bullshit. Hunters are breaking this game. Remove the class in general and come up with a better class for Destiny 2. This is sickening.

Yeah, Shadow Shot should be nerfed. At least us Titans don't have crazy aim assist or tracking Truth hammers or insane splash dama-Owait. Well, at least us Warlock only have Sith powers; it has the range of blade dancer and lasts less tim-Owait. Shadow Shot can get 3 'easy' kills, and maybe slow a few down. Half of the time when you shoot somebody with Shadow Shot who's just activated their super, it doesn't take their super away and they end up killing you anyway. I'd say it's fair because Hunters don't get health regen with Shadow like the other new supers. As for blink, you should see Warlocks blinking all over the map... Especially on Rift.

I'm not butt hurt, you're just wrong. Shadowshot isn't as powerful of a super compared to sunbreaker and storm caller. You can get 3 kills max with the shots and then while you're mid air shooting you get no armor buff so you just get rekt if there is more than 1 person around you while you use it. I main a hunter and I never get tethered by other hunters, whenever they do I kill them, so unless you're killing someone with your shadowshot it's pretty crappy in PvP as an offensive super. Also like someone else mentioned, the tether needs to a to activate fight away.

This literally never happens. Ur just whining because u havent figured out how to win against shadowshot. ive been taken down plenty of times after firing off 3 very well placed shadowshots, more so than it ever actually helps me. at best a hunter can get 3 insta-kills with the 3 shots and tether the rest of the team if theyve been dumb enough to walk into the tether, but they can still get out of it by killing the hunter. I dont particularly like the New titan or Warlock classes cuz of how well they can take out a whole team with their supers if they get lucky either, but oh wait doesnt that already make all the classes equal if all 3 can accomplish the same thing. its all about skill man and trying to blame hunters for making shotgun exploits is also a load of bs and we all know it. Sounds like ur on the verge of quitting, Please do, we don't need quitters here.

2 RepliesDon't warlocks have a blink jump? Hunters are definitely not the only ones that abused blink jump/shotgun. It was blink/shotgun/ Ram helmet. Aren't Warlocks also getting an exotic that pretty much negates the blink jump nerf?

Got tethered by a shadow shot last time I played pvp and proceeded to kill the hunter thereby releasing me from the tether and freeing my teammates as well. GGS

Honestly I escape almost every tether lol but You can shoot the orb to destroy it; I kind of agree however that it is a little OP (especially with the "quiver" perk) when it comes to the aim assist, this is coming from a Hunter & Titan main, it's like an advanced Truth...also if anyone can confirm: when I shoot at a tether (not the orb) sometimes it breaks? Or it could just be that I ran away in time lol
