So Shadowshot should be nerfed in 2016
This ridiculously OP super should be nerfed with the update next week before Iron Banner and Trials launches so these two game modes can be playable.
Shotguns are being destroyed because of hunter's abuse of blinking everywhere(thanks hunters). Shadow shot needs to be nerfed to maintain a balance in PVP. Since this is the goal in the Crucible. This is another OP class that the hunters have.
With a ridiculously high aim assist, Shadowshot can pick you off even if it is shot on a wall or on a ceiling. It's tethered range can grab you from 10 yards away which is insane. This super should be called "panicshot" because it just needs to be shot within the vicinity and everyone around is dead. Trying to get out of being Tethered is impossible as it turns you 180 degrees away from the purple orb and it has the health similar to golgoroth. Also, there is no reason for this to take my super away when I activate it. I'm tired of losing my super when I am on my way down from activating my fist of panic. It's not easy to earn a super in crucible. You may only get one or two super per game because other teammates are stingy with their super and never produce any orbs.
So in conclusion, Shadowshot is ridiculously OP and needs to be nerfed. Hunters are the OP class in the game and has caused Hunters to become Divas in this game and the proof is all over the forums. Make them go back to their other OP class as bladedancer. I am tired of this game being so Hunter Friendly. All classes should be equal.

Edit 2: it's so funny seeing all hunters get all butthurt defensive over this. Similar to the Titans who defend their hammer of sol. Irony. Hunters are the most OP class in the game! That's why 87% of crucible matches contain hunters. I have almost double the amount of Hunter kills than the other two classes. Check your grimoire. It should be the same way. Shadow shot is OP along with the other two subclasses. Warlocks and Titans agree. It's game breaking and Shadowshot is considered a panic super.
MAJOR EDIT: take a look at this bullshit. Hunters are breaking this game. Remove the class in general and come up with a better class for Destiny 2. This is sickening.

Umm...who wouldnt wanna be a ninja? Thats why hunters are fun! Cry nerf all you want a hunter will still find a way to stick their blade up your O.O just a tip if shadowshot frightens you then use a defender titan cuz the shot doesnt penetrate and you can hide in your bubble till it runs out x)

Are you guys serious if anything the Titan is way way way to -blam!-ing op and before that the warlock was. All the hunters have going for them is golden gun for PvP mainly. Blade dancer is rendered useless now pretty much because you guys b****** and moaned way too much. Shadow shot is a SUPPORT subclass you know kinda like the warlocks op hybrid sun singer class yeah.. and the Titans pansy bubble that they sit in on control flags. So just letting you all know shadowshot is fine how about you nerf the hammer of sol and the range for storm callers. Or the community can stop complaining and be ok with it..

Especially when they jump 3 stories in the air. And fire all three arrows, the first one misses and pulls me out of my super, the second misses, and the third he hits me with, killing me. Then I get bagged because hunter logic. Super=feat of skill in their little minds. I feel I can't even play sunsinger anymore. I feel so outclassed. Sunbreaker literally does everything a radiance warlock does except with more damage, longer duration, and regens health. And when I self res every edge lord hunter just tethers me. So now I'm stuck. I'm a day one main warlock that can't even find a subclass that competes. Forget Stormcaller. The only thing that class has is it's super. Which isn't worth the trade off.

Most of the time Nightstalkers end up dying in the process of shooting Shadowshot and dont even get to take advantage of their supers.....the tether takes time to activate. OP is a sack of Ascendent Shards!

2 RepliesIn all seriousness, nightstalker has the potential to be the deadliest class in theory. I like that bungie created a subclass like this. You can tell how experienced a player is by use of super and class abilities. Novice: panic shadowshot, and shadow step with a shotty. Tosses smokes and nades when about to lose 1v1. Intermediate: sets traps and uses crouch mechanics. Only engages enemies when they are weak and uses class to escape when outnumbered. Uses super hit targets directly. Advanced: uses abilities to set a perimeter. Saves super for counter super. Combo's shadowshot with teammates super or heavy to replenish shadowshot. Aims ahead of enemy by a few seconds with shadowshot to guarantee super cancel.

Hell i shut down a sunbreaker and an annoying warlock facking chain lightning super. ( whatever its called idc) they both popped their super around a corner so i nailed mine to a wall, the rushed around the corner and got tethered. So i had two more shots to put them in place and get two easy kills. And save my team from empending death. Walked away with the win by a few 1000s points in IB. If you use it right,it wrecks m8s
