I was wondering if in the future how destiny was going to explain travel to more distant locations. I know it's a game and it doesn't matter, but traveling even to Saturn would take a ridiculous amount of time. In the future I would like to see more exotic and distant planets like the hive home world of fundament, the eliksni homeworld, and planets in other galaxies like alpha centauri.

You need to listen to the second story mission. You get a warp drive. Warp drive bend space and time. Aka you can go faster than the speed of light.

The properties of warp drive are inconsistent and convenient to the plot, I get it. No one can tell how fast a warp drive can go, since it's a fictional device.
