With the help of ancient technology and a mysterious giant unknowable orb of... something, mankind has huddled together creating one last city. Ours is the struggle to turn it into the First City. In my opinion, anyone saying this game has a weak plot and limited story is due to apathy, lazyness, or a refusal to pick up on any of the (oft'times subtle) cues presented.
