It depends on what's they are gonna do with it.
As long as they keep it at emotes I should be fine, but once they start making it so you can buy other items then we will be worried.

I agree and I doubt it will go beyond cosmetics. I think Bungie knows even people like me, who regularly find a bright side to even the most controversial changes, would jump ship if this became a glorified Boom Beach. I see this working just like Guild Wars which did nothing but benefit on both a company level and a player level.
