Infuse the one you like.
Aside from the exotic faction pieces, class items do not provide unique benefits.
1) farm blue engrams. Infuse fav item to as close to 300 as you can get.
2) infuse fav item with 310 raid class item.
3) profit.

You can only Infuse Legendary and Exotic gear though, and you can't Infuse year one items. I don't have any Legendary Class Items from TTK that I like. Sure, the Gunslinger Cloak is awesome, but I would MUCH rather use the takamone rare, or ANY of the rare/uncommon/commons from TTK. Or even my original FWC Cloak from year 1. Also, you can't use rares as fuel to Infuse either, so there is no way I would be able to Infuse my Gunslinger Cloak. It's just such a limiting system. They should let us use our Class Items as though they were Class Items, not chest pieces.

sorry for my lack of clarity. i assumed you knew i was talking about year two items as year one items are all completely worthless now. =/ the best workaround is to farm blue items that can roll up to 300 defense and use them to infuse the legendary item of your choice. unfortunately, RNGesus will give you class items AFTER you spend legendary marks to buy one because, "reasons." as far as aesthetics are concerned, in my opinion the new monarchy cloak looks great, and the ps4 exclusive cloak is nice looking too. if you get a chance to raid, the darkhallow cloak is VERY nice looking as well. i am rather confident that if you manage to see more of the new cloaks, you will find one that you like. if not, you can always do like i did and delete your hunter for more warlocks since they are obv the master race. =P

My understanding is that you have to use Legendary or Exotic items to upgrade a Legendary or Exotic item. Blues cannot be used to Infuse can they? But yeah I have one Cloak I dont mind, but I'm sure I'll find one thats decent enough to use. I just hate it how they turned an item that couldnt possibly become useless, as it had no use, become useless, for no reason. I will never find a Cloak I used as often as my Astrolord Cloak, or my scarf, or my Mavericks Cloak, or my Grinders Cloak. I only ever used Legendary Cloaks on special occasions (besides Astrolord). Now I will never ever use anything below the Gunslinger Cloak ever again, because you can't Infuse rares or commons. It sucks hardcore.

Edited by Louise Belcher: 10/3/2015 4:08:38 PMyou can in fact infuse legendary items with any year two rare, legendary, or exotic item. so players do strikes and farm the best blues they can (up to 300) then use them to infuse their best legendary items if they want more perks. otherwise, many just rock the blues until they get better raid gear since that goes from 300-310. if raiding isn't your cup of tee, you can wait for iron banner or trials as they will be comparable to raid gear just without the perks that help with deathsingers/oryx. there is no point to waste marks to infuse blues or greens because you can just keep farming and you will get enough of them to find one with a better stat roll before long. they drop VERY often in everyday activities. if you do not raid, then really you won't need to have a class item over 300 anyways. the way the stat distributions work,. even if you were in all 300 weapons and gear, you could still have a relatively low level class item equipped and it would not affect your light level more than a handful of points.
