I have about the same experience, somewhere around 2500 hours played, but I do enjoy taking A destiny break every once in a while. When I come back to Destiny I enjoy it more. It just sucks there are way too few games out there to really enjoy since Destiny's gameplay is near perfect. The only games I have spend serious time in since september last year are Far Cry 4, dying light and The Witcher 3, but everytime I finished a game and returned to Destiny it felt like coming home.
