Realistically the next dlc will be about the Vex tho. The stranger is still out and about and her new rifle has yet to be found.

The Stranger is most likely leftover from the original story that Destiny once had. Every bit of dialogue from her and interaction with her makes no sense, and the fact that we've faced a hive God without seeing her again to help us points to her being a leftover character.
