The books of sorrow are lies?

The books are awesome and the info we've gained from them even moreso but I came across a little bit of text in one that sheds doubt on it all. From the sorrow card Dreadnaught:
Sayeth Oryx, Go out into the universe, my court Gather tribute for me. Send it home to my ship. When I call you, walk up that tribute to my court. I will prepare for long voyages — [I am Savathûn, insidious] Into the war — [I graffiti this notice for you] Into the Deep — [These Books are full of lies!]
So from that we get: [I am Savathûn, insidious] [I graffiti this notice for you] [These Books are full of lies!] What does she mean? There must be at least some truth in the books or it would be near pointless bungie making them into grimoire for us only to take it all back at a later date. We also have the possibility that Savathun is simply lying herself, she is the ultimate trickster after all. But if there is truth in what she says we must find out what she is referring to and whether it is meant to trick us or the Oryx's brood. Haven't made much headway yet, wanted to post it first to see what conspiracies you guys can come up with.

 • Okay, just going on the wild premise that the books are all lies... I don't think that'd be a waste of Bungie's time at all. I think it makes their universe more dynamic. Gamers in general seem to have this preconception that anything that's written in a game is the 100% gospel and that it's in no way colored by the author who wrote it. I think it'd be a wild idea that there's this entire history book in a game that gets it wrong, or only tells one side of the story. Hell, we have that joke of "I read it on the Internet so it must be true." I think it'd be great to have that sort of dynamic in a fictional universe. Plus, it gives Bungie an out if they want/need to change some details to work better in the story they want to tell.
