Bring a Sword ONLY Gametype to Destiny!
Welcome guardians, the title says it all!
I wanted to get the community's opinion on a new playlist, a 6vs6 sword ONLY game type, with either infinite ammo option, or a trials type option ([b]With new trials swords[/b]).
I think this would be a very fun but challenging game type, it would make teams decide either to go solo or form as a group, with some guardians blocking and others ready to attack [b]Think of the movie 300, when the Spartans form a Phalanx between the Hot Gates[/b]
So guardians, let me know what you think, is this a great idea or completely stupid?

Edit: Judging from everyone's feedback, it seems Exotic swords, mostly Bolt Caster are OP ;) Maybe if they increase the health of a guardian in this playlist, simply allow NO Exotic swords within the playlist, or "Heavy" ammo upgrades the sword to Exotic for a certain amount of hits.

How about no swords in normal crucible, rockets should be a one hit kill. Not 94 damage.

as long is it is never a bounty I am fine because i hate swords in pcp but as long as i dont have to do it i dont care

At the moment I don't think it would work very well. If the swordplay was more sophisticated and there were more combos other than the one existing one it could be really cool. It would be fun for about half a match, and then you would just get more and more pissed at how little control over winning an engagement you had.

I think it would be cool to increase the health so you don't get one bit by the sword, to provide more of a challenge.
