How big should the Crows be?

Under a hundred. Keep it cozy and manageable.

Between a 100 and 350. The more, the merrier.

No limits! Let's blot Destiny's skies with Crows!

Since we are steadily picking up steam, I'd really like to know how you feel about the size of our group. Do you prefer a small family that know each other well? A bigger group that give plenty of opportunities to Raid and share? A behemoth that becomes renowned and feared ;) ? I personaly feel like keeping it small, as I am currently seeing on "Silent Wings" that they got so big that people don't read the mission statement anymore and start asking for experience and everything else we are firmly against. But you might have a diffrent point of view. Let me know what you think!

  • I like the idea of a cozy clan but with that being said my feeling is this is going to be a wide spread group (time zone differences) and it would be nice to have a large enough clan to where there are always enough of us on to have full fire teams and robust party chats. Naturally the clan is going to end up breaking up into groups that are on at roughly the same time throughout the day. With all that being said I'm here to 100% support this clan as big or small as it gets. Sorry if that came off as scatterbrained, it's been a long wet day (we're in the middle of getting teased by a hurricane here in South Carolina)

  • I am inclined to a group between 100 - 150 members. But I would say that the specific number is less important than how we are able to interact with each other as a group. What i mean is, if we say "under 100" but just add everyone who takes an interest one day but then never really does anything to build the community but just uses the clan as a place to farm +1 to their fireteams etc - then that can become as impersonal as a group that has 500+. So just a few questions. If we are going to stay under 100, what determines membership? And what if we have 100 but 50 haven't really been any part of the group in any meaningful way? Do we just decline to accept new members who may be more dedicated? How would we go about maintaining a thriving community regardless of number? I think some structure is good without being overly restrictive? Can we set up events/ways to get people together (at the same time recognizing that we all have other RL duties to attend to)? I had a previous post of Groupme about designating someone as a '+1' at least on some days so that we can float and help out clan members with whatever they need. What about permanent threads on bungie for the weekly, one for the dailies, and one for random quests/strikes/crucibles? Id like to help out in any way possible - we might consider events and recruitment/member leadership members. Stuff like that.
