Ok simply put for those moaning about the non TTK lockout what did you expect why should those who pay for it get nothing more than those who don't and bungie made the game and started with the original concept everyone knew from day one this game would be ever growing and changing to make it into what it will become in the ten year plan

I'm sorry but your statement holds as much water as a bucket without a bottom. No one intentionally buys a game knowing (or even expecting) what you purchased to not contain the playable features that you started with in the beginning - especially in less than a year (say 3 months for some parts.) Everyone continued to play and purchase DLCs, as they expected the DLC to add content to the base game, not remove content; they even expect content might be changed to improve, but not to deteriorate. This last "change" to the game they called it an expansion, and yet it was more of a detraction as it replaced, nerfed and removed a huge portion. I do not think anyone expected to get any portion of the "content" for TTK without purchasing it, but only got riled up for the inconsistency that they received from previously released DLCs; yes everyone "expected" the game to be 'ever growing and changing' they did not expect the changes would be lockouts and replacements.

I think you misunderstand the problem. Why should those who have already paid for content have it removed though? I am right with you that those who buy TTK should have more content than those who don't. No one who doesn't buy TTK is asking for any content from the DLC, and a lot of people seem to either misread (or simply not read the threads) and make this assumption. The non-TTK players simply expect to keep the content they had previously, and I don't think that is such an unreasonable expectation to have considering no other game has ever restricted or removed content under the guise of an expansion. By the way, there is no ten year plan for destiny (just google it, the news is from 21/09/15) it appears to have been more of a marketing tactic.

What did YOU expect? Since you are moaning about moaners, let's talk about that. Did you know this was going to happen when you were dropping your money wherever you purchased this game that you were going to be REQUIRED to continuously pay to play the best parts of this game? Nobody expected this last year. NOBODY. It's okay that we're a little bitter and resentful for the time being.

Simple concept. You buy on the premise, but never do you expect for it to be Taken away, is it destiny or is it destiny 2? Every expanding game I currently or have ever played doesn't lose content it gains. I think I'm done with the bickering over this seeing as the lightbulb just switched on after seeing this interview. This game is obviously just the cash cow it is and expect to buy Destiny on the premise that each year the game will change, old content will disappear and new will arrive, Sorry Bungie I was expecting another groundbreaking Halo, but sadly after a full year you finally release the game as it should have been from the start, as it stands for now TTK is a whole new game and feels solid, I understand why year 1 players are incensed by your ignorance, TTK was priced accordingly bar TTK alone, TTK alone should have been far lower as a plain thank you to year one players but instead we pay for a full game. So, We have a choice, second chance or put our money elsewhere, Battlefront should be a great sci-fi shooter with Dice under the frame hmmm last chance from me Bungie. I'm gonna hammer TTK now guys n girls, try and get my monies worth while it lasts ......

You are right. However, I personally was never informed of this notion and was an avid reader about this game. I think many others would concur that the Bungie app and many other media outlets failed to make it as commonly known as they should have. Luke Smith admits to that. It's just a huge let down more so because I feel a little caught off guard. But thanks for the cordial response, good sir. Some could learn from that.

Bungie did straight up say that Destiny would never be pay to play as they had no intention of making it a subscription game. They also never indicated that content would ever be removed from the game, so I don't see how you can ignore information that was never provided. Bungie by their own admission in this interview have explained they didn't communicate with their consumers appropriately, you can't just ignore that information either.
