Used the strat for Oryx for about 4 hours last night and just couldnt beat him. We were staggering him fine, but it always seemed to be the adds like the acolytes eyes that were wrecking people just before we could get into the immortality bubble. We gonna try more later this week, but honestly its been 4 hours last night on oryx, and 3 hours on him the night before... Im just damn sick of Oryx atm. Would much rather clear through the rest of the raid again and get my confidence back up haha. Thanks for the guide a ton Slayerrage, you are a Legend.

Our group would sometimes have that problem. One way I'd try to keep the adds from getting out of hand would be to have the 6th person who covers ogres, focus on them from Inside the Aura of Immortality just as Oryx is staggered the first time. If I'm on ogre duty, grenades and an LMG would quickly dispatch them in time to continue putting damage on Oryx with the relic holder, just as the rest of the team was returning from bombs.
