My Laggy adventures... Pt.1 - Intro

Dear Bungie As I'm writing this letter to you, bullets, rockets and other lethal instruments of destruction are playing my favourite song. Somewhere in the distance I hear fellow guardians crying out in pain. Death and destruction everywhere. I was born and raised on the battlefield. Few things scare me and the battlefield is where I belong. However, there is one thing every guardian fears. It goes by the name of Lagg. It's already been more than a year since we first entered the crucible, and during this time the Lagg has claimed many a guardian. Forever corrupted and twisted beyod reckognition, these guardians now haunt the crucible and display incredible powers that Lagg has granted them. Powers even the Traveler envies. I told the Speaker about this plague in the crucible but I'm afraid the evil was too great. Last I heard the Speaker became mute, but I fear it's far worse than that. During my adventures I stumbled upon some vague rumors among the enemy ranks about new experimental technology. I believe it translates to something called "dedicated servers". It seems that this tech could help us battle the Lagg, but I could not find anyting besides more rumors and legends. Perhaps the Cryptarchs know more. While we wait on more info about this new tech a fellow guardian told me of an old method humankind used a long time ago. It predates the golden age, but sounds like it's just what we need to help us battle the Lagg. I am no scientist but I understand the basic idea beind it. The legend says this tech allows control over ping/latency limit. Somehow this method prevents the exposure to Lagg severely. I'm sure this would be dangerous to play with, but it is my belief that our Destiny depends on it . We gamble with our lives every moment and I would happily volunteer to test this first. The Lagg is going to take me eventually anyway. It is unavoidable. I would offer my light happily if it means striking a blow against the Lagg. Dear Bungie, the Lagg is the most powerfull enemy we have seen yet. Even the darkness fears it. If we don't do something soon I fear it will be the end of all things living. I hope this pigeon reaches you in time with this letter. Yours truly. Guardian.
