Bungie as a game company has gone to shit, its rather sad because I and many others see the untapped potential of the game and cringe that the developers are so shitty and fail to realize the true potential the game has with their lazy ass approach to recycling and padding half assed content. Its called fraud you greedy moron! You all Failed to disclose the mandatory purchases down the road and that renders the whole EULA a sham since you willingly withheld critical information to boost sales before we agreed to the EULA. "Its not surprising to us" Yet you don't have the -blam!-ing stones to address us directly. I'd seek a refund if I could even though I enjoy the game with its faults.

  • Oh but you can 😀. Hi, I'm caseyoakdale, your guide to your refund dream. All you have to do is call your console maker, then in a manner that displays you have more than a handful of brain cells, explain what Bungie is doing. They already know and have given them out, so be be intelligent, concise and factual. Some have gotten unhelpful reps, so be prepared to call again. Don't take no for an answer, you're owed.

  • Already did, twice in fact. I calmly explained how Bungie pushed the restrictions on content to coerce payment, from the cut content, the nightfall, the lockouts to the reduction in the level of strikes and the rewards all the good stuff and how it rendered my purchases essentially useless forcing me to either quit entirely or pay up. Both times the rep flatly said that I had to take it up with the company that made the game. I also explained how its impossible to contact bungie directly because they don't offer any sort of customer support or direct contact method. (The second actually seemed surprised of the lack of customer support!) I tried contacting bungie via email at various email accounts from their main website (The one that openly claims that they don't answer any Destiny related inquiries, They in fact ignore the emails) I even tweeted to Sony's CEO Mr. Kaz Hirai about Bungie's anti-consumer practices and how they might affect the PSN in terms of trust on the purchases made on the service. (A long shot for sure but worth a try.) I'd drive up to their physical offices to address this face to face with actual employees but I live in the Caribbean. I'm not taking a ($400.00 plus) flight to California to seek a $95.00 refund. Their EULA and their lack of disclosure on the mandatory nature of the DLC is in fact illegal where I live and is punishable by up to $10,000.00 USD in fines but its pointless since Bungie doesn't have a presence on the island so the laws here can't touch them. (I'm unwilling to sue in the federal court as it would cost me more than the price of the game plus the 10 years worth of DLCs. It wastes way too much time I don't have too.) Sorry for the long winded rant, My point is that I tried.
