I think I figured out how to get "rare" exotics like Twilight Garrison and the like.

As many of you may know, someone recently made a post proving that the had found the new titan exotic "Twilight Garrison", which seems to be extremely rare considering, to my knowledge, they are the only person in the game who has it. Also, according to their own post, they claim to have gotten it from a random exotic engram drop from a boss. But why is it so rare? Isn't that what everyone is doing right now? Everyone is just killing bosses for engrams. BUT. Ask yourself one question. WHERE is everyone farming right now? I can guarantee that 99.9% of you are going to say "Vanguard Strikes, duh." Well I think that is precisely the problem. Just like how these new Stike bosses have their own Legendary drops exclusive to them (ie: Dark Blade drops the legendary Dark Blade Helm for Titans), I think that there are some bosses that have exotic drops exclusive to them. I also think that these bosses are NOT strike bosses, but rather, bosses in story missions. Maybe even the old story mission bosses drop exclusive exotics, I just don't know. It would be very interesting to know which boss this person who got Twilight Garrison killed. It could shed a little light on this theory. One piece of very convincing evidence I came across was when I was just casually looking through the Armory on here. I noticed a very familiar looking set of exotic arms for the Titan. (Sorry I'm only looking into and talking about Titan armor. That happens to be my main. Titan master race of whatever.) https://www.bungie.net/en/armory/Detail?type=item&item=155374076&itemname=Thagomizers Notice anything familiar? There was a certain Valus Centurion boss during the new story that was taken by Three wizards. I completely forgot his name, but you fight him later when he comes out of a portal with his fat, wart faced ogre buddy during the regicide mission. These are EXACTLY the same arms that he's wearing. Does anyone have these arms yet? Not that I'm aware of. Have any of you used a Three of Coins specifically for this boss? I doubt it. Would everyone please band together and test this theory? I can't do it by myself. I'm bringing this theory out there for all of us to test and theory-craft and figure out how to get these new exotics. Mainly just because I reaaaaaaally want Twilight Garrison. Test away, people. Also, if anyone could find out who has Twilight Garrison, ask them which boss they killed, and report back here, it would mean the world to me. xoxo Edit: I found the Cabal's name. He's Primus Ta'aun. Here's a pic of him with those sweet, sweet, manly arms: http://db.destinytracker.com/grimoire/enemies/the-taken/primus-taaun Edit 2: I found the post of the person who has the Twilight Garrison: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/156235357/0/0 Edit 3: We made it to Trending everyone! Keep searching and hope for the best! I'm out of Three of Coins, so it's up to you guys and gals. Also, the one who found the Twilight Garrison said he got the engram drop from Draksis. I don't know how solid this evidence is though, considering he's being very hush-hush about specific details. Good luck out there Guardians!

The link in the weekly update about the prophecy about the three of coins nerf brings you to a post from Cozmo about three of coins usage. In it he kinda makes it seem like we aren't using them correctly since he says something to the effect that the nine are pleased to see us blow the coins the way we were using them before, or that they will become more useful down the line. Makes OP seem like he's may be on to something with coins being needed on particular bosses to get certain exotics.
