Looking at that nightstalker clip something seems wrong he hit the sunbreaker dead on or at least near that a tether should have triggered so the super should have been canceled. One of the players could have been red barring during that match. It could explain why the sunbreaker was spinning around in circles like a maniac.

Shadowshot only cancels a super if fired during the activation. It won't shut down a super that is already going

No I have had it shutdown my super mid super before. What the person in that video experienced was a bug which happens in pve and pvp. It's when the hit hits but doesn't register so the game treats it like they were simply shot.

Ah because I've shot multiple stormcallers in their supers and still been zapped haha
