What are your thoughts on the StillPiercer?
What are your thoughts on the StillPiercer (I think I spelled that right)? It is a hunter-specific sniper rifle that has a perk that grants all rounds to the magazine if all shot fired are precision shots. I got it yesterday and the scope is unique and has an ok feel to it, however I feel that the range is slightly lacking.
Edit 1: The Perfectionist perk is triggered by all shots landed being precision KILLS, not just shots.
Edit 2: It is worth mentioning on the thread that the sniper has a unique perk that enhances the radar when equipped. Very interesting for a long-distance weapon; perhaps designed for a medium distance sniper?

They look underwhelming but most are useful. Element: Void

It's pretty badass. It's great in both PVP and PVE. I have a 300 Stillpiercer right now, [i]and I love it.[/i] At a higher attack value, you won't notice much of a damage drop off. But it is on the low end of long ranged sniper rifles, I won't lie. With that in mind, don't try and be as far back as possible and you'll be fine.

It wrecks. Same stat model as 1000 yard stare and didn't cost me a dime, well the range may be a little lower but in this dlc across map pve is pretty nonexistent.

Most maps are midrange other than something like crossroads but it's a beauty on a map like frontier. It has a lower zoom scope and can kill off the revive so I love it. It feels a lot like my her benevolence too so I really enjoy it.

I bought yesterday "1000 yard stare" from vanguard and love it so far; i think they're in the same league; does anybody have Eirene RR4? this might be even better ( better impact ).

2 RepliesI have three thousand yard stares. All above 300 atk while still piercer is at 296. Is it worth infusing with the stare in my hunter? He's using the one rewarded for taken war earth. Which has firefly and Tacsys my favorite scope.

I like it, but I only really use it in the raid or when I'm playing safe. I'm having too much fun with my sword lol

Its a great sniper, but im not impressed with the perk. As a legendary void sniper, second best secondary i have.

I like it more than hereafter. It has better handling and I prefer the optics on Stillpiercer. I like 1000 Yard Stare better. It's the rifle most comparable to LDR.
