Blade Dancer is best class for PvP.
Backstab Blink Strike, 1 hit melee to the back, side and sometimes front.
QuickDraw, this perk is, in my opinion, the best perk in the game. Instant weapon switching and aiming.
Arcbolt grenade is amazing for finishing off anyone who runs.
The sticky Arc grenade is great too.
Blink, this is self explanatory.
Arcblade is second only to the Sun Breaker hammers.

I said compared to the other NEW classes, plus I end Bladedancers for breakfast in Crucible, Fist of Havoc wrecks all!

Ah, I didn't see that part. It was bright outside. And yes, blade dancers are easy to kill, I usually just use my matador. Most people die because they panic.

It's timing, unless you have a high fire rate shotgun or a supreme sniper, it's just getting that first buckshot off and melee!
