Vault of Glass is still really fun to play through with a chill group, also the shards and energy can be converted to motes which are super useful.
I don't know why anyone would play Crota's End. It's stupid.

I never played Crota (traded in my game pre-expansion) and found out that I/we Guardians (in the words of Eris Morn) "entered the pit and slew a God". So I'd like to see how the whole fight plays out

The beginning is actually kind of fun, running in a panic through the dark but I have to say the new Sunless Cell strike has that plus a lot of other fun parts that overall are better than Crota's End. It's just a very underwhelming Raid. And the "slay a god" thing amounts to one person hacking at him with a sword and everyone else waiting for heavy ammo to cool down.
