I think it's terrible, the drop rate was not the problem, the availability of as many ToC as you could afford was the root of the problem. A more sensible fix would have been to simply limit how many coins could be purchased from Xur in a given weekend. Just b/c the chance has been reduced will not keep people from farming the crap out of them as they did last week. Smgdfh, epic fail!!!

Thank god they "fixed" it. Giving everyone access to exotics is truly a crime.

You can still get them but just not as fast, which is fine by me

What's to keep people from stocking up and spending them over the course of the week until Xur returns rather than use some sort of farming exploit? The market will still be flooded w/ ToC and exotics, so the problem has not really been 'fixed'.

Getting kicked to orbit, problem. Servers running terrible during Iron Banner, problem. Lag switch users, problem. Bungie designing an item that worked the way it was intended, down to the description, not a problem.

Then why 'fix' it? I'll tell you why, b/c for some reason they didn't anticipate the community being as resourceful as it was to find an easy way to exploit this feature. I think the bigger problem is why the community is expected to continue to pay to test the game that Bungie had a year (or more) to get right. To that point, why are all the things you listed still a problem? It's not like these are new issues, yet they continue to go ignored.

Your so right. I cringe every time I see Iron Banner is coming. Cause I spend the next few days getting kicked from the game world.

Idk dude, people are going to test the old cheese methods out still and see how it works. And I don't think limiting how many you can get is a good idea
