I was a veteran player a few weeks ago and deleted all my Chars. I was coming back here to look how the new dlc was reviewed and based on that, i decided to not buy the game. The main reason for that is your main point / the main point of the Youtubers review: I had high hopes for destiny, especially for the RPG/ Shooter mix bungie promised to produce. It turned out to be a pretty entertaining mmo for Halo-Fans (as i am). Me and my friends played mostly osiris at the end of my destiny time because it was so dammned hard for us medicore-pvpler. Osiris is just extremly interesting, same goes for the raids (the first time til-100th time maybe?) and nightfall. So we had fun til the end BUT I can't play this game anymore. Everyday i thought "this could be so much more" it is as if the game design constantly made me think, there was some epic story and RPG to come ("maybe with the next dlc" i thought). "This world, this setting, this background-story, is just made to be an epic mmorpg with freaking shooter-gameplay". But it did not made any progress in the rpg direction. Pvp is going to be even more important in the future and there is nothing wrong with that, but do not let it look like an rpg! Bungie i just couldnt take it anymore, my disapointment was real. Just admit you -blam!-ed the rpg-part up and let the community decide what to do from now on. I can imagine a tournament-based development of a giant fraction-war (that would be pvp based and extremly immersive) or if you go in another direction just stay true to the heart of your shooter-gameplay and put the story in the cards but let it grow there. You don't have to have Cutscenes, 3dmodels and animation for a good rpg-world but make SOME room for content anywhere! I wish you the best destiny and all the people loving your gameplay
